The excitement of the Graduation Show slowly ebbed and Lucy is back in her crates, awaiting another opportunity, and thus an adjustment to a new space. At her genesis she was meant to appear from a glass column, has been stuck into frozen heaps of sand, into chicken wire constructions, to end up into movable plasterboards to turn the space assigned to her for the show against the large windows of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie into a room of her own. Now she is looking forward to presenting herself, not against glass but with glass; that is, closer to her origin, in a mosaic of glass sheets that will display the brittle balance between human and nature even more.
